I've decided to at least publish the VirtualBox images I've done in case
anyone is interested to try 7.6 and/or LMS on a Windows computer but
don't want to install ActiveState perl and checkout from svn
themselves.

The following page contains information how to get it up and runnig:
http://erland.isaksson.info/arkiv/vboxsbsimages/

The main principles is that after the installation, you will get a
virtual computer which automatically updates to latest (or specified)
SVN version when it's started. To refresh it, you just restart the
virtual computer. It will get its own IP address so it can be run in
parallel with your standard Squeezebox Server installation, on each
player you select which Squeezebox Server you want to connect to.

It will be able to share the music files with your main installation
but everything else is separate and can easily be removed when you
don't want it anymore.

I'm not sure this is going to be continuously maintained yet, but I
though I'd post it to get some feed back if it's something people would
like to use. In case people are interested in this, it would probably be
possible to tune it a bit so you can start it automatically when your
normal computer is started and also so it runs in background so you
don't have to see the VirtualBox windows.

So if anyone decides to try it, let me know how it works out.
