I started using my "older" digital images (digicam from the 1990s, scans of my slides taken in the late 90s and some in the 2000s) for testing purposes too. They tend to have rather odd tagging. The community sure is important, as we can't have all the oddball files which are out there in real life. Look at the scanning issues on Windows: I've tested this on 3 different Windows systems, no problem. Nobody in-house was able to reproduce the crash. I think companies like Logitech often avoid hard figures, just to be on the safe side.
