Maybe it would be enough to have a simple table where people could
report statistics from their real system and library.
Where you report:
- Hardware used (CPU, Memory, Hardware model)
- Operating system (Linux, Windows, OSX)
- Average browsing response time (less than 2 seconds, more than 2
seconds, more than 10 seconds)
- Full scanning time (number of hours/minutes)
- Number of songs
- Reliable or not reliable/problematic
That way it would at least be an indication about which performance you
could expect. It's not exact measurement but it gives you some kind of
indication what works and what doesn't work.
Or is it just wasted time to spend time doing something like that ?
Maybe we don't need it ?
