First of all, I doubt 7.6 is more stable than latest 7.5.6 nightly
release (which still is labeled 7.5.5 in download directory).
However, I have switched to use 7.6 in my living room setup and I don't
have any big issues. I believe there has been and still are some issues
related to scanning, but the critical one causing scanner crashes with
MP3 files was solved a number of days ago, both in 7.5.6 nightly and
7.6 nightly.
Remember to make sure you have a TrackStat backup if you use the
TrackStat plugin as the 7.5 -> 7.6 upgrade won't keep all TrackStat
data automatically, you have to restore a TrackStat backup in 7.6 to
make sure you still have all TrackStat data.
