SBS does _not_ assign an album artist to albums without one. If you're talking about albums.contributor, that's a _sorting_ field used *only* when albums are sorted by artist. (And it's badly misnamed if it has lead everyone to think it's the album artist.) It has always contained a link to exactly one record in the contributors table, which is perfectly fine for _sorting_ purposes. If you have an album attributed to two artists, then it must be sorted into the list by one or the other. > what if this was the only album you had? would it be in there twice or > what?
