I had already uploaded a couple of the files and Andy said he saw nothing in particular. Since SBS can now scan about a third of the way into my collection, my approach now is to make a copy of the file the scan aborts on, then remove the tags and re-tag it, after which the scan handles that file okay and moves on.
As for filing a bug, I won't do that because I can't say what it might be about these files that's causing a problem.
