I have rebooted the server and this seems to have had no effect. I've searched for custom-types.conf and nothing comes up either.
All the m4a's I have are old files ripped by iTunes and they all come up with AAC as their format. The Magda podcast, on the other hand, comes up as MPEG-4 and does begin to play as an mp4 file. FAAD is still used to do the transcoding. Is that correct? However, this is not without problems either, but it is probably unrelated. If I try to seek within the track, by clicking on another place within it through the WebUI, the music stops and FAAD begins to take up 100% of CPU, making SBS hang. I have to kill the FAAD process, at which point FAAD gets relaunched and starts playing from the place that I wanted to jump to. This is clearly not normal either... Attached is the relevant extract from the log: you can see that there is a minute's gap in the log when FAAD was maxing out the CPU until I killed it by hand. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: magda_faad.log | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12465| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Wigster ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wigster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14899 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90243 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
