Unless something has changed, I believe the "added" timestamp actually
is in the database, in tracks_persistent.added, so making the "New
Music" menu use that would probably not be to hard. The question is
just if some people maybe want the "New Music" to behave as "Last
changed music of new music".

Either way, I suspect this is something that won't change in 7.7.0. If
we are really talking about a release candidate the only things that
should be fixed on top of RC2 is critical bugs and the behavior of "New
Music" menu doesn't feel critical to me.
