Breaks Music playback . I was adding a folder for my pictures
As soon as I pressed apply , music went silent and LMS automatically started some kind of scan... Oh no, it is a complete rescan !? :-/ At least do a new and changed in this case . But the thing is that it does scan my assigned music folder I had not changed that one at all there is nothing new to see there ?? I could understand it if I had changed the setting for the folder to include pictures too, then a rescan of that folder had been necessary ? Ultimately Server must have separate dB for music,pictures,video best to also have them separate for each assigned folder too in some way. And scan modes as following : *Clear and rescan everything *Clear and rescan music *Clear and rescan pictures *Clear and rescan video *scan for new and changed *scan for new and changed music *scan for new and changed pictures *scan for new and changed video And of course play list scan too And ability to run scans per assigned media folder now that we can specify more than one folder *Clear and rescan/scan for new and changed < what applies to that folder > in folder foo etc That would be great for large collections of anything, than you could assign a lot of media folders and have a rather fine grained folder structure and do limited scan per folder and then LMS would simply know that there is nothing new in the other folders. Further removing folders, should not dump the whole dB and force rescans off everything you should just loose the part of the dB that belonged to that folder .
