DLNA is not a great standard with lots of variations in implementation which requires the server to "know" about the client and its foibles. TVersity has been around for a long time and has developed a device profile which can easily tailor alters its behaviour according to the device and device profiles have been developed for many clients. TVersity even provide a client certification process see http://wiki.tversity.com/index.php/Adding_a_Device_Profile_to_TVersity#Device_Certification_by_TVersity For the profile see http://wiki.tversity.com/index.php/A_Technical_Specification_of_a_Device_Profile If Logitech wants LMS to support many different types of DLNA client - I think it will need to assign more resources to interface development and test. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90609 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
