RC4: Install over RC3 (running as a service)... 1) Install hangs indefinitely at "Uninstalling"... THIS NEEDS FIXING
2) killing the uninstall process allows install to proceed - although the registering services step takes several minutes and then appears to crash - then it reappears with an "install successful" dialogue box 3) Immediately post-install the server service is not running. 4) opening the control panel and starting from there (NOTE: "Don't start automatically" is checked!- doh!) does start the service BUT now a FULL SCAN has started - WHY? The library has not changed. There is no reason for a scan after an install of 7.7 over a previous version of 7.7 (hopefully this will get fixed?) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
