Did you experience this with earlier versions too? There's a bug report about this, but I haven't been able to reproduce this: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17598 The report is about updating from 7.6.x to 7.7. You're saying you're seeing the same with updating an existing 7.7 build? I have a suspicion here: I added removal of SBS 7.6 rather late. This might actually be broken if an older 7.7 already had been installed. Which might cause the hanger. > now a FULL SCAN has started - WHY? The library has not changed.
