You can increase the logging level in the advanced settings via the web
interface, if it is a specific artwork that crashes the server it would
be good to find out and possible create a bug report and send the file
to logitech :-/

It seems to be two distinc types here, SBS barfs on a particular file.
SBS crashes on a random file .

I have a feeling there is no other way it's seems to be 10000 ways this
can go wrong ? There seems to be endless variations on how brake a music
file ?

Logitech have an ftp server for "problem files"

You can also turn off the artwork precaching completely in the
performance settings, then you get no art untill you browse/play a file
SBS will resize and make artwork as you cue up the files, this can work
if the server has cpu to do it on the fly, so artwork would appear
gradually as you browse and use the collection.

The release version of 7.6.1 has a bug where the web-UI shows bogus
stuff even if the scan was problem free, a restart of SBS then shows
you the correct file count, and 7.6.0 is to buggy .
so use server <=7.5.6 or >= 7.6.2 beta .

There is also a small group of user who can't use anything above 7.6.1
when WAL mode was introduced.
