This suggests that the new & changed scan does nothing in finding changed artwork. The new cover is found only when it's requested in one of the user interfaces.
Do you use any importer plugin (iTunes, MusicIP, SmartMix, Music & Artist Info, some of Erland's)? When launching a rescan for new and changed, is the external scanner launched or is it run in the LMS process (check the task manager to be sure)?
And I see the same thing as before. The new artwork appears correctly in the web ui Now Playing frame and in the current playlist frame. It also appears correctly on the trackinfo page. But I see the old artwork when browsing albums or artist > albums, and I get the blank placeholder on the albuminfo page.
