This problem has been affecting my WHS install for a short while. No
settings on the WHS have been altered except for the routine Microsoft
downloads.
It appears that my default browser, Mozilla Firefox is "blocking" access
to the advanced settings and web control buttons.
Because it was the default browser on the server, it "appears" to have
affected how the other browsers installed "saw" the control buttons. I
didn't have Google Chrome installed.
I have eventually uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and installed
Google Chrome, but have made Google Chrome the default browser. This
has "cured" the problem, but I don't know why.
If I have Internet Explorer as the default browser, the problem returns;
so it seems that both Firefox and Internet Explorer, at least on my WHS
install, "block" access to the control buttons.
If there is anyone more savvy than me, who can tell me why this has
happened, perhaps they can add to this thread.
