I can store all Artists and AlbumArtists in first/middle/last name, and have developed regular expressions to put the last name first in the sort forms of these. This works well. The fact that I cannot do the same with three other types of standard artist-type tag, ie composer, conductor and band, drives me nuts. If I select to include them in with other artists in the settings page, I get a real mess. This effectively means that ArtistSort and AlbumArtistSort are also useless. LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi running Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. Wired Touch + EDO, coax to Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop controls LMS via Chromium. Meridian Explorer USB DAC to listen via Squeezelite on Vortexbox & other PCs as required.
