Correction to this - it seems one has to close the LMS browser windows in order to get the refreshed result. All compilations now have no track artists appearing as album artists.
However, an (unintended?) consequence is that Compilations browse returns empty despite there being 10 compilation albums in the directory tree. Additionally, if you navigate to them (via Artists or visa Albums) and click on "Various Artists" it also returns an empty list: http://localhost:9000/clixmlbrowser/clicmd=browselibrary+items&mode=albums&linktitle=Artist%20(Various%20Artists)&artist_id=3108&artwork=1&player=/ However, if I browse Album Artists and navigate to V to find Various Artists and click on that hyperlink then all 10 compilation albums are returned: http://localhost:9000/clixmlbrowser/clicmd=browselibrary+items&linktitle=BROWSE_BY_ALBUMARTIST&mode=artists&role_id=ALBUMARTIST/index.html?mode=artists&role_id=ALBUMARTIST&index=95&player=&sess= Where tagging is concerned, none of the compilation albums has an albumartist Various Artists defined SqueezeWand | 'Vivere DAC MKI' (http://vivereaudio.com/post/2013/08/16/DAC-I-is-Born!.aspx) | 'ATC SCA2' (http://www.atcloudspeakers.co.uk/hi-fi/electronics/source-pre-amplifiers/sca2/) | 'ATC SCM100ASLT' (http://www.atcloudspeakers.co.uk/hi-fi/loudspeakers/tower-series/scm100aslt/) *'Linux finally gets a great audio tagger' (http://www.ubuntugeek.com/linux-finally-gets-a-great-audio-tagger.html): 'puddletag' (http://puddletag.sourceforge.net/)* - now packaged in most Linux distributions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ audiomuze's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33613 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101895 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
