My opinion is that this should be separate from BMF. For one, because the behavior is so different with respect to adding/updating the browsed content in the database. To me, this would represent what I've always thought BMF should be ... true browsing of the file system, without fiddle-funking around with the database. And in theory, it should make it possible to use the Squeezebox system with local music without ever even running a library scan. What I would do on my system is hide BMF and use only 'Browse Files'.
Will gapless playback still be possible without information about the music files being present in the database? What about dealing with single-file album rips with CUE sheets? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101928 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
