To me this is what many users were expecting squeezebox touch/radio etc to capable of. People wanted a mode where a squeezebox could run standalone and just mount a windows share and browse/play from it immediately without scanning or requiring a full blown database engine running on the local machine, local server or remote server. I haven't tested this yet and highly doubt this is what is available here, but at least this is starting to tick off the basic functions squeezebox seemed to skip straight over originally. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bits's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13375 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101928 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
