I just wanted to say that I reverted to an earlier version of LMS 7.9 and no longer have problems with the scanner running over and over. Erland has updated Trackstat and Multilibrary and says this problem should not occur on the new 7.9 release, but I have yet to try it. Perhaps this has not been an issue for others
