I have been manually 'vacuuming' my system after a full scan and Custom Scan, since the standard 7.9 vacuum didn't re-vacuum persist.db after Custom Scan finishes. With this plugin I can do that much more easily.
Using the max buffer size (500MB on my 2GB system), and deleting unused indices, performance seems a little sharper. So all in all a good 'tweak'. Thanks. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
