LIV8312 SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU. DOES TRANSPRTER SUPPORTS FLAC DECODING ITSELF? DOES YOUR DAC SUPPORTS DOP (DSD OVER PCM) OR YOU ARE USING TRANSPORTER INTERNAL DAC? IT'S NO MATTER WHAT STREAMER YOU ARE USING. DSDPLAYER PLUGIN WORKS ON LMS SIDE. IT'S PRESENT ONLY FOR X86 AND X86-64 PROCESSORS. AS I KNOW TRANSPORTER SUPPORTS MAXIMUM 24/96 SIGNAL. IT'S INSUFFICIENTLY FOR DOP. AS I KNOW THERE IS NO EDO KERNEL FOR TRANSPORTER. THIS IS A LIMITATION OF THE PROCESSOR. IN ANY CASE YOU CAN TRY CONVERT TO 24/88.2 IN FOOBAR2000. BUT YOU MUST TO USE EXTERNAL DAC SUPPORTS DOP. THE SCHEME IS THE FOLLOWING WAY. YOU ARE CONVERTING DSF, DFF OR DSD ISO INTO FLAC. THIS FLAC CONTAINS DOP. AFTER THAT YOU ARE COPYING THIS FILES TO LMS. LMS STREAMS IT TO YOU SQUEEZEBOX. SQUEEZEBOX UNPACKS IT, AS IT SEEMS, TO PCM. YOUR DAC DETECTS DOP FLAG AND CONVERTS IT TO MUSIC AS DSD.
CFUTTRUP> Did you see that pinkdot updated his package to support DSD on the 12th > of July? Any chance it would work for you? It's no matter what kind of LMS I'm using. The main trouble is in DSDPlayer plugin for LMS. Once again, but this plugin does not exist in nature for ARM processors. In any case, my system works perfect and I can listen DSD from LMS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WadDad's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64557 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
