You may find, as I did, that then re-enabling the Full Text Search plugin will not cause any further problems. It seems to have changed the startup timing sufficiently to avoid the problem.
I wouldn't rely on this. Disabling/Enabling the plugin doesn't change any order in which they are loaded. It's a timing issue. It might work or not. But if you want to be sure, then use either the FTS plugin or Erland's, but not both of them.
