It probably fails because it tries to login to mysqueezebox.com, but the SSL certificate is for squeezenetwork.com
Hmm... on all three systems I tested this I didn't have a problem to log in. But yeah, I should ask to update the certificate to the correct host name.
I've committed a change which would fall back to http if SSL failed for whatever reason.
