I'm also no longer seeing upgrade "reminders"...
Most likely you just need to be patient. LMS only checks for updates every 24h. There might be new versions out there which it has not announced yet as the 24h since the last check haven't passed.
If that's not the case, then enable debugging for server.update and monitor server.log to see what's going on.
