This morning Martin Wallace put out a post publicly asking John Bohrer to 'end the war'. He mentioned the didn't like the name of Routes to Riches but that it wasn't that big a deal (I'm paraphrasing, obviously). He was more concerned about some hotel event shenanigans at Essen that I wasn't fully following (as I'm not going myself).
After some typical stuff from BGG posters on both sides John Bohrer posted and said that he too wanted to end the war and that a) he'd change the name of Routes to Riches to the temporary name#58 and b) would cancel his plans at said hotel. Some BGG posters were glad to see some conciliation. Others felt there were 'passive-aggressive' digs at Martin in his reply (I'm not going to try to reproduce them here) and posted as such in response to John. That was as of about an hour or so before the downtime hit.
