The last card game I bought and hated was Camelot Legends. It looked like a really fun romp through Merry Old with King Arthur. It turns out that you play to get quests based on combinations of attributes of your knights, and you claim a quest at the start of your turn rather than the end. So instead of playing and then getting something, you get to play, watch someone who got there before get it and you can't do anything about it, or Watch them keep you from getting it turn after turn with special cards. It's like playing an excel spreadsheet. Then, there's random event cards that just suck and mess with your plans for no real reason.
