Most reviews so far have been good. It seems the major drawback is length. the game states I think 2 - 3 hours (or maybe it is 3 - 4) but the games are seeming to take several hours (ie 6+) to finish with a full complement of players. Apparently you can play it with 2 players with maybe 1 adjustment (use 4 suspects) and it plays with 3 players well and in a reasonable length of time. I ordered my copy Saturday. The Majority of the reviews say that the game isn't just dripping theme it is saturated with theme (there are some that disagree but not everyone will agree on everything all the time).
If you enjoy psudo-rpg games (ie games with characters and stories not skill building or leveling) and don't mind the length then this may be for you. I can't see this Solo (even though I think I saw someone with a solo variant already but with too many changes) but Kevin Wilson stated that the game could support to but it was not playtested with 2 so the box says 3 - 5. There are literally hundreds of different possibilities in this game but you will need friends that don't mind sitting down for a full day to play it until you get good at it. They are saying that setup takes a minimum of 30 minutes.
