Hi I really like rftg, played about 10xs now. I really don't think it's a game for newer players. There are a ton of icons on the cards and we even still have points or contention while playing it.
Why don't u get pr to the table that often? If u are still working on ur collection and trying increase the weight of ur games maybe try some of these. Stone age, pillars, power grid or even Agricola. Goa ifind to be a good next step but of course it's out of print.
