The one thing y'all are forgetting: Without the shell! Start with a good pan. Take a half pound of bacon; fry, keeping the rendered fat in the pan. pour contents of 1-3 eggs into hot bacon fat, discarding shells into trash after emptying. flip eggs when white is white. Remove after a minute more, and place in covered warmed plate. Repeat with second batch of eggs drop bread into fat, flip, set aside, repeat. once 4 pieces are dipped, most of fat should be absorbed. Fry those pieces to toast them. Apply mayo and mustard to taste, put egg between pieces of bread.
