I haven't played Cartagena! I gave it to my sister in law and her family loved it, tho.
I've played Loot and it didn't really grab me. I think it was a little dry for us. So, I'll go along with Sue (smithhemb) and recommend Cartagena. Always listen to Sue, I say! :) She gives great recommendations!
