I'm puzzled by a couple of things here: First, B&N has indeed reduced game prices on a prescribed schedule in past years. I know because during the past few years I have toured every store convenient to me in the Twin Cities during this post- holiday period (6-7 stores at least each year) and found them reducing to 50% on the same day--and I had discovered that schedule both by watching Geeklists and by asking at a couple of stores in advance. Again, the sale schedule here in MN seemed to match what was happening at other B&N stores nationally, according to lively conversation on a couple of Geeklists.
Second, I'm not sure what IIRC is, but "early March" is definitely a LOT later than a certain B&N insider was suggesting on a Geeklist a couple of weeks ago for the 50% reduction. Again, that insider had said that games would be reduced to 50%, nationally, today. Obviously not the case, but "early March" seems very late. Where did you get the early March date? When will the reduction to 50% take place? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BGG Down" group.
