Our local club, Flatland Gamers, was originally formed by Role- players. The way I look at it, a gamer is a gamer is a gamer. I own well over 1100 board games and CCGs which have all been catalogued on Boardgamegeek. I also own close to 500 Role-playing games, books, and supplements. It would be nice to catalogue them online, too.
We run a Monthly 'Games Day' on the last Saturday of every month and there are usually at least three RPG tables set up amid the Warhammer players and the board gamers, not to mention the evening LARP which draws close to 20 people each month. Many of the Role-players stick around to play board games once their afternoon RPG session is done, and many board gamers play in the evening LARP... it's a true mix.
