Not for nothing but.. someone nailed it earlier, a gamer is a gamer is a gamer. One of the things I've loved about the gamer community as a whole is that they are noticeably more welcoming, friendly, sharing, and courteous than average people I've met over the course of my life. Sure, there are some outliers in the LARP crowd (I would argue some of those "LARPers" are not in fact gamers at all) and definitely some exceptions in the CCG crowd (only RL thieves I've met in the gaming community there). But I hope the OP is joking and realizes that we are all (weirdo RPG players included) part of a community that is generally a cut above the rest in terms of how we treat one another.
