I don't know about you guys but I'm a fan of Dave Ramsey. I went
through Financial Peace University and now have a strict philosophy
of
NOT SPENDING MORE THAN YOU HAVE. (debt is bad, bad, bad)

I started the year out with a modest $25/mo for my game budget that
was quickly struck when my wife saw an opportunity to clear out her
basement. Anything that I could sell for space from our basement went
right into the game fund plus chirstmas and birthday moneys give me a
riding posiitive balance.

I research what games I needed to round out my collection with each
round of purchases (usually 10-12 games online taking advantage of the
free shipping marks) and I have "game A.D.D." I love learning new
games and I'm always looking for my next favorite game.

One thing I've noticed though, sadly, is that with each round of
purchases my wife is less likely to play the new games and its getting
harder to pull out the first bunch to play together. I wish we had a
little more time on that first bunch before I jumped into the Euro-
Euros. We were having fun.
