1. Cities and Knights -- this is pretty great, I've had fun with it,
and in fact I'm not interested in playing Settlers anymore unless it
includes Cities and Knights. It's a decent bit more complex than
regular Settlers, so not as suitable for the casual gamer. You may
get lucky and suck them in, though!

2. Saboteur -- This game had a time of great success in my group,
including all my very-much-non-gaming or casual-gaming friends;
everyone liked it. It led to some fun debates and arguments, too... a
good way to get people mad at each other if you don't have time to
play Diplomacy! 5 players is about the minimum you'd want for
Saboteur, I'd say. The novelty eventually wears off, but it's a
worthy investment for sure. It's also faster to set up and play a few
rounds of than any other game on your list.

Note: I also was not really thrilled by Red November. I wanted it to
be fun, but it just seemed kind of flat. I only played with 2
players, though, which isn't the ideal way to do it.
On a side note, I have extremely nostalgic feelings for Talisman and I
bet people would like it, but I haven't actually played it for
probably 15 years, so I hesitate to put my recommendation on it. :-)
