You didn't mention number of players so here are some co-op games that you can also play solo that I like.
You could try Castle Ravenloft but it seems to be a love it or hate it type of game. All Things Zombie The Board Game isn't bad either. Its essentially war game lite. I have pre-order another title called Boots on the Ground by Worthington games.
