There must be someone out there who would get the developer membership anyhow? 
That person could do the builds.

I think that we shouldn't charge for BibDesk, and that PayPal or something else 
could be used for people to donate. That might pay the person who was going to 
become a member anyhow. 

I would prefer that if possible, BibDesk never be distributed via the Mac App 
store. I don't think this is really compatible, in spirit, with the idea of 
Free Software as in Freedom. Someone should not have to check in somewhere to 
download the software. I am probably more extreme on this than some people, but 
distribution through the Mac App store seems a little bit like being 
assimilated into the Borg.  Also, there may be sometime down the line when we 
want to do something that Apple doesn't want, and so have to go in a direction 
we don't want to go in, in order to be included in the store.
