To see if I understand this: with the latest nightly build, things  
should work the way I want, right?  By "the way I want" I mean that I  
can drag a doc or URL icon into the editor window for the bibtex  
entry in question, and the proper icon will show up, and, in the case  
of a local doc icon, the doc itself will stay put.

As you note, I did change one, so it's hard to blame it fully on the  
defaults :-}

And, of course, if it weren't for my assumptions, I wouldn't get to  
communicate with you guys :-}
