Dear List,
I know you had a lot of discussions about the autofile function in
1.3.13/14 and I like the new functions very much, but I have a little
problem for which I couldn´t find an answer yet.

In the past I used two different kinds of ways to embedd a file to a
bibdesk-entry:
1) For papers I used the autofile-function and it stored it
automatically.
2) If I created an excerpt for a paper I stored this "by hand" at a
special place and embedded it as well ("by hand").

I liked this very much because I integrated a colum for excerpts in
the "general colum overview". This made it possible for me to see at
one look if I have a file, an excerpt or both for a bibdesk entry.

My problem now is, that I would like to go on with that solution, but
if I use the autofile function to store my papers, I can't embed my
excerpts by hand and if I embed it both automatically I can´t
distinguish at the first look which kind of file I embedded.

I hope you understand where my problem lies and I described
everything correct. If you have a good solutution for me, I would be
very happy if you could write me an email.

Best wishes
Holger
