If you click the "Import" button, the chances are pretty good you want to keep the bib info, and it sounds like that's what Saviolo is doing? Does PubMed provide a link to the file? I think Papers is somehow able to download metadata + files automatically, so that would be an alternative (if they fix their BibTeX export).
