Hi all,
the worflow I use to import and file my publications is the following
1) Use External->Web to go on google scholar and search for a publication
2) Import the BibTeX entry with the dedicated button
3) Double click on the PDF link to activate the PDF previewer
4) Click on the "Open PDF in Preview" button
5) Save the PDF on the Desktop
6) Drag-drop the PDF from to Desktop to BibDesk and use AutoFile
A few questions/comments
a) Is there a quicker workflow? Is there a good way to execute points 4)-6)
in one go?
b) The reason why I click "Open PDF in Preview" instead of "Save PDF to
download folder" is that the Download folder is a rather exotic, hidden
temporary folder. If the workflow above is correct, can I set the Download
folder to be the Desktop?
Thanks in advance.
Daniele
