It's a shame that DOIs don't resolve also to a permalink of the PDF 
(there's the possibility of multiple resolving addresses from a DOI but 
I don't think anyone takes advantage of it).

I also don't like importing references from Google Scholar because they 
don't contain DOI fields :(
Getting back to the topic of the thread, my workflow is the same as 
Daniele's with the "drag from window menu PDF icon" step. Reasonably 
quick but would be nice to improve it; unfortunately, there doesn't 
seem to be any way to do that, at this stage.
