You add linked files from the side pane on the right of the detail window. You can add as many as you like. You can use drag/drop, the contextual menu, or the action menu in the status bar. You can also use the main window when you have only a single publication selected. The conversion of the Local-Url field to a linked file is done once as a convenience (unless you turn that off in the default fields preferences). It is not repeated when conversion was already done (i,.e. when the item already has one or more linked files and URLs). Christiaan
