In a bit more detail, say the other files are linked in files called Local-Url-1, Local-Url-2, or whatever. Then add these fields to the Custom BibTeX Fields in the Fields preferences, and set their type to Local File. Then go to your database, and choose Database > Convert File And URL Fields, choose the settings you like (i.e. whether you want to convert only files or also URLs, whether you want the fields to be removed, whether you want to convert only the selected items), and run it. This will not add linked files twice, so it also works OK if Local-Url was already converted. Christiaan
