Actually, Tektro Brake shoes offer an orbital adjustment, and can take
Kool-Stop inserts. I mentioned the Vee version before, but the same
holds true for the caliper version--I run them on my fixed with Kool-
Stop DA type cartridges.

And again, the stock Tektro carts are good enough for dry conditions
that I'd keep them in the parts bin for summer, or at least not bother
swapping them out if they didn't cause trouble.
