<DIV><FONT size=2>Friends,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>The East Side Transportation Management Association, Oakland Ave. Business Improvement District, Urban Ecology Center, and Cory the Bike Fixer are implementing a new bike loan program for students and faculty at UWM this school year.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>We have initiated a pilot program wherein Cory has agreed to fix up 25 bikes, the ETMA will paint them UWM colors, and 25 pre-selected candidates will be "loaned" the bike for the fall semester. The ETMA will track the use of the bikes and find out what makes biking to UWM great or what makes it difficult. We hope to expand the program in the future to help lessen the impact of vehicular traffic to the UWM campus each day.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2><STRONG>We hope that you can support us by donating any <U>used bikes</U> to our program</STRONG>. We are halfway to our goal of 25 bikes. If you have any bikes to donate, just drop them off at Cory the Bike Fixer at 2410 N. Murray Ave., 1 1/2 blocks north of E.
