Current construction effecting the eastern end of the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path is nearing completion. If the contractors stay on schedule, the project should be done by the end of the week. The path is now accessible through to/from Park St, but bikes must take the north-most, pedestrian path by the Limnology building and continue up the sidewalk. This is tricky and I recommend walking your bike in this spot if there is any pedestrian traffic. The asphalt lane and car parking lot 8 is currently being repaved, so bikes are not able to navigate this area until the end of the project (hopefully Monday). Also, construction will begin on the Crew House soon. This construction will not close the path, only slightly inconvenience users -- there will be a detour around the building, essentially the same as the route you might take when the gates are down for crew team practice. _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
