Musical Melodies and Environmental Policies from Freiburg, Germany
Madison welcomes Sister City Frieburg, Germany for an evening of information and entertainment!

Freiburg, one of the greenest cities in the world, has composed world-renowned sustainable environmental policies that harmonize traffic planning, energy supply planning, climate protection, waste management, and urban planning to the tune of protecting their natural resources. Two experts will travel to Madison as part of a Freiburg Fair and will share their orchestrated approach to sustainable community development. The presentation will be followed by a short and lively concert of the Freiburg Rathaus Band, a 20 piece brass band from Freiburg.

This free event will be on Thursday, August 25th at 7:00 PM at the Grand Hall, Meriter Maingate Retirement Center on 333 W. Main Street in Madison.
