Is the University increasing its parking or not? Al Fish and his team came to our neighborhood associatioin a few months ago, looked us straight in the eye, and told us that they were building parking ramps to reduce the footprint of parking on campus, not to increase parking capacity. And that sounded good to us.
If it turns out that they're using the parking ramps to increase total capacity (even if some ratios are staying constant or going down), then I'll be upset. I might be willing to accept an argument that additional spaces are needed in some locations, but I'd like to hear the truth, whatever it is. So what IS the truth? Is the University adding parking, or not?
